Everyone's familiar with the majestic pyramids along the Nile - timeless symbols of a powerful and captivating Egyptian culture that still leaves us in awe. In this game, players, as leaders of a royal Egyptian family, select sites, construct pyramids, and express gratitude to Amun-Re and other gods for their blessings. In Amun-Re, every pharaoh aims to build the most pyramids. To achieve this, they first need to acquire a province for trading and farming. With the profits, they can purchase new provinces and building stones to erect their pyramids. Players must skillfully use their power cards and offer suitable sacrifices to Amun-Re for all their actions. The Amun-Re 20th Anniversary Edition comes with new modules that enhance the gameplay: - **Officials Variant**: This variant is for 2 - 3 players. It provides an extra Scribe for bidding. Each round, players bid for two provinces, controlling one and getting an Officials card from the other. These cards offer exciting instant bonuses. - **Afterlife Expansion**: Adds tomb tiles to the market phase. Players build their personal pyramid - shaped structures with these tiles. Each tile placed gives a bonus, and it multiplies if placed on matching tiles. Completed rows of tiles earn points at the end of the game. - **Statues Expansion**: In the first three rounds, grand statues representing Egyptian gods are added to certain provinces. The player controlling the province with a statue gets unique powers, adding more excitement to the auction phase. - **Pharaoh Mini Expansion**: Increases the tension in the auction phase. When a player overbids, the Pharaoh moves to that province. The player winning the province with the Pharaoh gets a token for extra rewards in the offerings phase.

How to play Amun - Re: First, each player takes on the role of a pharaoh in a royal Egyptian family. Start by choosing a province for trading and farming.
