Ark Nova is a must - have to play this exciting expansion! Dive into Ark Nova: Marine Worlds and add a splash of new animals, enclosures, and action cards to your Ark Nova game. This expansion brings multiple fresh elements to the table. Introduce sea animals that need special enclosures built next to water. About half of these sea animals are reef dwellers, and adding one to your zoo activates the abilities of all reef dwellers in it. To handle the deck dilution from new cards, sea cards have a wave icon. When it shows up, discard the first card in the row and refill. There's a new fourth university on the association board. Pick it, and you can claim one of six special universities from the reserve with a research icon and an animal icon. Reveal cards from the deck top and keep the first one with a matching animal icon. Five action cards come with four alternate versions each, adding a new twist. At the start, players draft these to replace two standard action cards, increasing game asymmetry. New bonus tiles and final scoring cards are included. Also, the expansion has alternate wooden markers for 3 tracks and cute animal markers for conservation projects. How to use: First, make sure you have the base game Ark Nova. Then, integrate the new elements from the Marine Worlds expansion into your existing game setup. Place the new enclosures next to the water areas as required for the sea animals. When you add a reef - dwelling sea animal to your zoo, remember to trigger the abilities of all reef dwellers in your zoo. For the new university on the association board, when you choose it, just follow the rule of revealing cards from the deck top to get a matching one. At the start of the game, draft the new action cards to replace two of your standard ones. Note that the sea cards with the wave icon have a special discard - and - replenish rule. Maintenance: Keep all the cards and markers in a dry and clean place. When not in use, store them in the provided box or a suitable storage container to prevent damage.
