Description
Red Storm: Baltic Approaches is an exciting expansion for GMT's Red Storm, a game about operational - level air combat between NATO and the Warsaw Pact. It brings in the air forces of three new countries - Denmark, Sweden, and Poland. You'll also get extra units for existing nations in Red Storm, like US Marine Corps aircraft. Naval units, anti - ship missiles, maritime weather, and rules for air combat in the western Baltic's maritime area are added. New mission types, such as raids on enemy ships, amphibious operation support, airborne drops, and aerial mining, join the original ones from Red Storm. Solo scenarios using the Bot system from Red Storm are included too. There are a bunch of new aircraft types like the F - 4S Phantom, AV - 8B Harrier II, and more. Naval units range from big cruisers to small missile patrol craft. Note: You need a copy of Red Storm: The Air War Over Central Germany, 1987 to play this expansion.
To use this Red Storm: Baltic Approaches expansion, first make sure you have a copy of Red Storm: The Air War Over Central Germany, 1987. Then, simply integrate the new units, mission types, and rules into your existing game. When setting up, add the new air forces of Denmark, Sweden, and Poland, as well as the additional units for other nations. For naval units, place them according to the maritime area rules. When playing solo scenarios, use the Bot system as described in the Red Storm base game. Keep the game components in a dry and clean place to prevent damage. If any cards or pieces get dirty, gently wipe them with a soft, dry cloth. That's all you need to know to enjoy this great expansion!
