Bonfire Trees and Creatures

On Asperia, each day is a new adventure, filled with unexpected events that reshape the gnomefolk's lives. Ancient trees are revitalized by guardians, and gnomes seek aid from powerful and mysterious creatures. In Bonfire: Trees & Creatures, the story unfolds further. Players can expand the base game using three combinable modules and add a fifth player. Build your city by placing tree tiles on path tiles to unlock bonuses and new scoring ways. At game start, draft a creature card with a unique ability. Whenever the starting player places a fate tile, draw an event card that changes a rule and impacts all players.

To play Bonfire: Trees & Creatures, first set up the base game as usual. Then, you can choose to include the three expansion modules and add a fifth player if you like. At the beginning of the game, each player gets to pick a creature card with a special ability. During the game, expand your city by getting and placing tree tiles on top of your path tiles. This will give you useful bonuses and new ways to score at the end. Every time the player who started the game puts down a new fate tile, draw an event card. This card will change a certain rule that affects all players. When storing the game, keep the cards in a cool, dry place to prevent damage. Also, make sure to shuffle the cards well before each game to keep things fair and exciting.
