Description
Every year, the International Bridge Racing Association picks a bridge - rich city to host the annual Bridgetown Race. This year, it's Portland, Oregon, USA. Players can use various means of transport like bicycles, motorcycles, taxis, buses, cars, street - cars, or even their own feet to cross bridges and capture flags. The first to collect flags from all 8 bridges wins the race! In each round, players arrange transportation by placing coordinators on their chosen transport mode or special action. Then, they choose a way to travel and move their racer through the streets, aiming to be the first to cross a bridge and grab its flag. The flag goes on the player's Bridge Completion card. If no one collects all 8 flags by the end of the 5th round, the player with the most different - colored flags wins. This game is suitable for ages 13 and up, with 2 to 4 players, and a playtime of 45 to 60 minutes.
To play the Bridgetown Races game, first gather 2 to 4 players aged 13 or older. The game takes about 45 to 60 minutes. Each year in the game, the race is held in a different bridge - filled city (this year it's Portland). In each round, you'll start by placing coordinators on the transportation mode or special action you choose. This helps you arrange your transportation. Next, pick a way to travel, like a bicycle or a taxi, and move your racer around the streets. Try to be the first to cross a bridge and pick up its flag. Put the flag on your Bridge Completion card. The goal is to be the first to collect flags from all 8 bridges. But if that doesn't happen by the end of the 5th round, the player with the most different - colored flags wins. Remember, the rules are written with adults in mind, so make sure everyone understands them. After each game, keep the cards and pieces organized in the box to ensure they stay in good condition for future plays.
