Then, they strategically place followers on fields, cities, roads, or monasteries to score as many points as possible. Depending on where they're placed, these followers transform into knights, monks, farmers, or thieves. The player who uses their followers most cleverly wins the game. This completely redesigned and modernized edition comes with two great expansions: The River and the Abbot.

How to play: First, lay out the starting tile. Then, players take turns drawing a tile and placing it adjacent to existing tiles to build the area around the city. After placing a tile, you can choose to put a follower on a field, city, road, or monastery. When a feature like a city or road is completed, count the points based on the rules. If you place a follower on a monastery, it scores points when surrounded by tiles. Things to note: Make sure to place tiles properly so that they fit the terrain of adjacent tiles. Don't forget to follow the rules for scoring different features. Maintenance advice: Keep the tiles and followers in a dry place to prevent warping. You can use a soft cloth to clean them if they get dirty.
