Players lead unique factions to embark on adventures, engage in battles, increase their power, and finally settle in Eldervale, molding it according to their own ideas.
This game combines worker placement, area control, engine building, and unique worker units. Players take turns to place a worker in Eldervale or reorganize and activate their adventure card tableau. The action spaces include crucial power realms such as a summoning portal, an ancient mill, a lost fortress, deep dungeons, a crumbling mage tower, and the elemental lands of Earth, Air, Fire, Water, Light, Dark, Order, and Chaos! Magic cards offer spells, quests, and prophecies to players.
Ultimately, the players with the most elemental dominance among the multiple victory paths will rule over Eldervale.
