Description
Little Battle is an amazing first drafting game for kids. It comes with a deck of 27 animal cards in blue, yellow, and red, each having values ranging from about 1 - 10. At the start of a round, players get five cards in hand. They place one card face - down on their longship, pass the cards to the left, pick another card, and repeat until there are five cards on the longship. Then, everyone holds these cards and simultaneously chooses one to place face - down on the table. The goal is to use these animals to win blue, yellow, and red treasure chests. The chests are shuffled and put into two piles. When you play a card beside a face - up chest, everyone reveals their cards. If your animal's color doesn't match the chest, it's out of play. If only one animal is by a chest, its owner takes the chest. If multiple animals are there, the player with the highest - numbered card wins. Keep playing until all five cards are used. If chests remain, shuffle the animal cards and play another round. Once all chests are claimed, turn them over and count the coins to see who has the biggest treasure!
How to play Little Battle: First, gather all the players. At the start of each round, give each player five cards from the deck of 27 animal cards (blue, yellow, and red with values 1 - 10). Place one card face - down on your longship, then pass the remaining cards to the left and pick a new one. Do this until you have five cards on your longship. Hold these cards and all players simultaneously choose one to put face - down on the table. Shuffle the blue, yellow, and red treasure chests and place them in two piles. Play your card beside a face - up chest and then reveal all cards. If your animal's color doesn't match the chest, take it out of play. If only your animal is by a chest, you win it. If there are multiple animals, the highest - numbered card takes the chest. Keep going until you've used all five cards. If there are still chests left, shuffle the animal cards and start another round. Once all chests are claimed, turn them over and count the coins to find the winner. Note: Make sure to shuffle the cards well before each new round to keep the game fair. To maintain the game, keep the cards in a dry and clean place to prevent damage. Don't bend or fold the cards during play.
