This game operates on the 'Mayhem System', a unique team - based combat system where KOing opponents is the most straightforward way to gain VPs. Characters use various items and powers in battles, and the battle damage changes each round according to the mayhem die. When a character is KOed, they're removed from the board, and the opponent gets VPs, then return in the next round. Not only combat, but you can also earn VPs from classic cartoon locations. At the 'Poker Stars' location, a toon moving there can test their luck; rolling a star on the mayhem die means an instant VP for the team. 'Home Sweet Home' gives a VP when both team characters first arrive. And the 'Desert Road' offers ACME deliveries, adding extra effects to blast opponents.
