Lord of the Rings LCG The Dark of Mirkwood Scenario Pack

Your heroic Fellowship has barely escaped the trials in Dol Guldur. After a short stay in Lórien, as you head back to Thranduil, you spot smoke rising from the edges of Mirkwood. The black plumes lead you to a devastated Woodman village, with bodies everywhere and black - feathered arrows in their backs. Clearly, it's the work of Goblins. A dying Woodman's gasps tell you the survivors were taken to the Goblins' lair in the forest. You vow to rescue them if possible or avenge them if not, then draw your weapons and enter the woods. This standalone scenario pack features two adventures: The Oath and The Caves of Nibin - dûm. Originally part of the Limited Collector’s Edition for The Lord of the Rings LCG, with new boon and burden cards and the Revised Core Set, you and your fellow heroes can take on these challenges as a two - part adventure or an extension of the core set’s Mirkwood Paths campaign. Will you save the captives or get lost in Mirkwood's darkness? Note: A copy of The Lord of the Rings: The Card Game core set is required to play.

To play this scenario pack, you'll first need to have a copy of The Lord of the Rings: The Card Game core set. Shuffle the cards in the scenario pack and set up the game according to the rules in the core set. When playing the two adventures, The Oath and The Caves of Nibin - dûm, follow the specific instructions for each scenario. Pay attention to the new boon and burden cards and how they affect the gameplay. As you play, keep track of the story progress and the actions of your heroes. After each game, make sure to put the cards back in the pack neatly. Store the cards in a cool, dry place to keep them in good condition. Don't expose them to direct sunlight or moisture, as this can damage the cards.
