The LUDOS Asia Collection is here to preserve the classic games of the past for future generations. This collection includes four 2 - player ancient strategy games from different Asian countries. Over 2500 backers supported this project on Kickstarter. Hasami Shogi from Japan, often known as “Scissor Chess”, is a variant of Japanese Shogi. You control 18 samurai warriors and aim to form 5 in a row to win. Jarmo from Mongolia is a war game dating back to the 8th - century Mongol Empire's Turkic peoples. Command 5 archers and be the first to infiltrate the enemy camp. Bagh Chal, a 1000 - year - old Nepalese board game, lets you control either 20 goats or 4 tigers. The goal is to corner all tigers or devour 5 goats. Yut, a nearly 2000 - year - old Korean horse - racing game, was once for gambling. Now, families play it during Chinese New Year. Use the result of casting sticks to cross the winning post with all your horses. Suitable for 2 players, 20 - minute playing time, and players aged 6 and above.

To play this LUDOS Asia Collection, you first choose one of the four games. For Hasami Shogi, set up the 18 samurai warriors on the board and start moving them to form 5 in a row. In Jarmo, position your 5 archers and try to infiltrate the enemy camp. When playing Bagh Chal, decide whether to be the goats or the tigers and work towards your goal. In Yut, cast the sticks and move your horses according to the result. As for maintenance, keep the game pieces in a dry place to prevent damage. After each play, make sure to put all the pieces back in the box properly. When playing, avoid rough handling of the pieces to keep them in good condition.
