In the Modern Art Card Game, also known as Masters Gallery, you step into the dual roles of art critics and gallery owners. The game features the works of five artists. Each player starts with a hand of masterpiece cards. On your turn, play a card on the table to show your stake in an artist's fate. Some cards come with special actions like playing a second card, drawing an extra one, increasing an artist's value, or having everyone play a card at once. When a certain number of an artist's works are on the table, the round ends. Works of the most - represented artists sell for $1 - 3. The game lasts four rounds. Players get more cards before new rounds, and an artist's work value rises based on past performance. The player with the most money after four rounds wins. Masters Gallery shows classic art from Vermeer, Degas, Renoir, Monet, and Van Gogh on its cards, while Modern Art Card Game has the same gameplay with contemporary artists like Wagner Kuroiwa, Mariana Martins, Nicolás Sánchez, Denise Jillian Tan, and TEC.
