It features 4 brand - new civilizations: Aztecs, Mughals, Amazons, and Atlanteans, all fully compatible with the 5 core civilizations. There are also more terrain tiles with fresh environments like deserts, jungles, islands, and Aztec pyramids, enabling an exciting 5 - player mode! Each civilization in 'Lost Kingdoms' has its own card deck, including cultural policies, knowledge, and buildings. Plus, there are unique provinces for each: pyramids for the Aztecs, deserts for the Mughals, jungles for the Amazons, and islands for the Atlanteans. These new terrains can be used with or without the civilizations to make the board look better and help you create great maps. When combined with the core box, 9 civilizations are ready to battle for glory and dominance in Monumental, whether against other players or in solo mode.
Using this product is a breeze. First, open the 'Lost Kingdoms' civilization box and take out the new civilization cards and terrain tiles. If you're playing with 5 players, set up the board using the new terrain tiles to create an exciting new playing area. Shuffle the civilization - specific card decks and distribute them to the relevant players. When it's your turn, play cards from your deck to develop your civilization and gain an edge over your opponents. In solo mode, use the same rules but focus on competing against the game's challenges. As for maintenance, keep the cards and tiles in a dry place to prevent warping or damage. When not in use, store them in the box to keep everything organized. Avoid bending the cards or getting the tiles dirty. That way, you can enjoy many games with the 'Lost Kingdoms' expansion.
