NewSpeak is an intense dystopian game where you can be either a 'dissident' or a 'moderator' in a mind - twisting battle of wits to shape your reality. As a dissident, use underground codes to plan meetings at spooky map locations. Secretly set your location dials to declare your meeting spot. Moderators have a short time to guess the dissidents' meeting place from a code book and direct a state raid. After that, dissidents show their location dials. If most dissidents meet at one place or if moderators catch them, the location gets 'hacked' or'moderated'. As the game goes on, moderated locations offer potential allies for dissidents. But as dissidents try to 'hack' more locations, moderators fight back with more surveillance outposts to limit the dissidents' movement in the city.

How to play: First, decide if you want to be a dissident or a moderator. As a dissident, use the matching underground codes in the game to plan a meeting at one of the locations on the map. Secretly turn your location dial to show where you want to meet. As a moderator, quickly look through the book of all possible code sets the dissidents could use, guess their meeting place, and agree on a location for the state raid. When it's time, dissidents reveal their location dials. Check if most dissidents met at one place or if moderators caught them. This decides if the location is 'hacked' or'moderated'. As the game progresses, keep an eye on how the situation changes. Moderated locations can give you new allies if you're a dissident, but the moderators will put up more surveillance.
