Far to the south of The Last Ruin stands a cliffside village named The Monument. For generations, it safeguarded an ancient shrine until a crystal meteorite fell. Strange monsters from the meteor emerged and attacked everything in their path. These creatures spread like a fungus without any intelligent malice or grand invasion plan. After numerous failed attempts to drive them out, the villagers of The Monument fled as their village crumbled and became nomads. Twenty years later, rumors say the monsters are weakening, getting slower and more vulnerable to attacks, even turning to dust. No one knows why, but as the news spreads, different groups set their sights on the ruined village. The original villagers, now refugees, are eager to return and rebuild, but they must act fast before someone else takes their home. This is their one - shot chance, it's now or never. In Now or Never, you and up to three friends compete to rebuild your ancestral village and guide the villagers back home. Although the meteorite creatures have lost much of their strength, you still need to fight them off to protect the villagers. Now or Never is the third game in the Arzium storybook series, which also includes Above and Below and Near and Far. It's a competitive strategy game where you can choose one of four unique characters. Rebuild the village strategically to house the returning villagers and gain long - term rewards. The game has two modes: standard and story. In story mode, read from a storybook while exploring, make choices, and learn more about the characters and the world.
