Description

Embark on a thrilling journey in this Eurogame where you can lead either the United States or Soviet Union Space Agency. It's an engine - building, worker - placement race to the moon! Play in teams of one or two players. Each player on a team controls either Engineer Workers or Administrator Workers. Coordinate with your teammate on each turn. Place a worker on board actions to gather 9 different resources, draft development cards, boost media coverage, recruit astronauts, upgrade resources, develop space - flight capabilities, or launch unmanned and manned space missions. The type of worker you place changes the action's effect. Each board action can be used only once per round, so your placement affects both opponents and teammates. Gain an edge in the media to place your worker first or get special one - time abilities and bonus resources. Score Victory Points by building drafted cards or successful space launches. Each successful launch upgrades a board action for all teams. Be the first to achieve a manned moon landing for bonus Victory Points and end the game. The team with the most Victory Points wins. This game offers a fun way to learn about the space race, making it ideal for US history curriculums in classrooms and home schools. It's for 2 - 4 players, with a play time of 60 - 120 minutes and suitable for ages 10 and above.

How to play: First, divide into teams of one or two players. Decide who will control the Engineer Workers and who will control the Administrator Workers. On your turn, work with your teammate to place a worker on a board action. You can use these actions to do things like gather resources or draft cards. Remember, each action can only be used once per round. Try to gain an advantage in the media, as it can give you benefits like placing your worker first. To win, score Victory Points by building cards or launching successful space missions. End the game by achieving the first manned moon landing. Note: Make sure to communicate well with your teammate. Since each board action has a limited use, plan your moves carefully. Maintenance: Keep the game components in a dry and clean place. If the cards get dirty, you can gently wipe them with a soft cloth.
