In Open Season, you step into the shoes of a monster with a kind - heart beneath a tough exterior. Tired of adventurers disturbing your peace, you decide to take revenge. Once they're out of the way, it's time to decorate your living room by creating a cool collection of heads on the wall. The game spans nine rounds. Players take turns in a clockwise direction. Each turn involves three key steps: First, fill the market with five face - up cards. Second, pick a card from the market and place it on an empty space on your board. Third, trigger bonus actions. These actions are linked to the top three slots of your player board. When you place a card in your reserve that matches a person associated with one of the three actions, you can activate the bonus. And if a new card lands in your reserve due to a bonus, it might trigger another one. On your player board, make sure the top - row slots have different peoples or face - down cards. The two cards beside the 'Different' symbol must also be of different peoples or face - down cards, and the same goes for the bottom - row slots.
