To use this expansion, first make sure you have the Middle-earth Strategy Battle Game Rules Manual, Armies of the Lord of the Rings, and Armies of the Hobbit. Start by reading the History of the North section to understand the background. Then, choose from the 18 scenarios or the campaign. When building your army, refer to the army sections for unit details and bonuses. For the Legendary Legions, follow the restricted army compositions. As for reenacting battles, check the Appendix. Keep the supplement in a dry place to avoid damage. If you spill something on it, gently wipe it off. And remember, have fun exploring the northern regions of Middle-earth!
