Beacon Patrol: Ships & Shores
Embark on an epic coastal journey! Along the way, you'll meet new ships that can help you navigate tough terrains. Team up with these vessels and combine their unique powers to safeguard the coastlines. But remember, these ships need skilled hands to operate!
Here are the special ships and their abilities:
- Construction Ship: Refill 1 movement token every time you place a tile.
- Research Vessel: Swap up to 2 tiles each turn.
- Coast Guard Ship: Spend 1 movement token to move to any Outpost tile or the Beacon Patrol HQ.
- Hover Craft: Spend 1 movement token to place a land - connected tile and move onto it, or 2 tokens to move 1 space over land.
- Pilot Ship: Can't move to a tile when placing it without spending a movement token, but can place land - connected tiles.
- Ferry: Move up to 3 tiles in a straight line when spending a movement token. No tile swapping on your turn.
- Submarine: Exchange 1 unplayed tile with the top tile of the discard pile. Discarding tiles won't refill your movement.
These new ships not only bring fresh powers but also add new tiles to the game, offering more scoring opportunities and new challenges!

When using the movement tokens, think about the best way to move your ships and place the tiles. Some ships, like the Submarine, have specific rules about tile exchange and movement token refill. Take your time to understand each ship's function. After playing, keep the wooden meeples and cards in a dry place to avoid damage. Store the tiles neatly to prevent them from getting lost or bent.
