Roman nobles were called upon to help the emperor establish this magnificent eastern capital, and the task was completed in just six years. In the Nova Roma board game, you play as the head of an ancient and noble Roman family. Deploy your family members and retainers to achieve various goals, such as constructing buildings, controlling sea - routes, securing resources, competing in the hippodrome, and hiring specialists. The family that best pleases the emperor and fulfills its own agendas at the end of the game wins. This game is suitable for 1 - 4 players, takes 60 - 120 minutes to play, and is for ages 14 and up. It features area majority/influence, contracts, end - game bonuses, pattern building, variable set - up, worker placement, and different worker types. Themes include ancient history, city building, economics, and racing.
