Description
In Fame Us, a thrilling card game, each player begins with six cards. These cards feature descriptive words or phrases such as 'tall', 'blonde', 'actor', 'politician', or 'mustachioed'. During a turn, players have three options. They can play a card to the center of the table, ideally having a famous person in mind that matches all the descriptive cards in play without naming them. They can also pass and draw a card. Or they can challenge the previous player who played a card to name someone fitting the descriptions. If the challenger names someone, everyone (except the challenger) votes on whether it's an acceptable answer. If the challenger loses, they draw two cards. If the bluffer loses, they draw three. To ensure honest voting, at the start of the game, each player is secretly assigned to either 'The VIP Table' or 'The King on the Dance Floor' team. The game ends after ten rounds or when a player empties their hand. The team with the fewest cards wins.
To play Fame Us, start by giving each player six cards. On your turn, you can choose to play a card in the middle of the table, pass and draw a new card, or challenge the previous player. When you play a card, just think of a famous person who matches the descriptions but don't say the name yet. If you challenge someone and they name a famous person, everyone except you will vote on if it's a good answer. Remember, if you lose a challenge as a challenger, draw two cards; if you're the bluffer and lose, draw three. At the beginning, you'll be secretly put on either 'The VIP Table' or 'The King on the Dance Floor' team. The game wraps up after ten rounds or when someone runs out of cards. The team with the least number of cards is the winner. Keep the cards in a dry place and handle them gently to keep them in good condition.
