Once upon a time in Europe, the era was extremely dark. The wealth distribution back then was far from satisfactory. Greedy folks grouped up to seize from others, making the rich richer and the poor poorer. That's just how it was. Step into the shoes of a Baron or Baroness in a nearly European region long ago. Thanks to your birth, you've got many vassals working to boost your wealth, and you're striving to make your king even more prosperous. Do things right, and you might become king someday! Each player begins with a Fiefdom Management card divided into 64 squares (49 available for tile placement). Place your Keep in four squares, housing your fortifications and soldiers. Deploy resource gatherers and buildings across your land to grow, prosper, and earn victory points. Along the way, expect wars, invasions, tournaments, taxes, and more!
To start playing Feudality, each player gets a Fiefdom Management card. The first thing you need to do is place your Keep in four out of the 49 available squares on the card. Put your fortifications and soldiers in the Keep. Then, spread out your resource gatherers and buildings across the rest of your land. This will help you grow your territory, make it more prosperous, and score victory points. During the game, there will be wars, invasions, tournaments, and taxes. Just go with the flow and use these events to your advantage. Remember, your goal is to make your king more prosperous and maybe even become the king yourself someday. There aren't really any strict maintenance requirements for this game, but keep your cards in good condition to avoid any issues. And have fun while you play!
