The Carnevale of Horrors is a thrilling 62 - card standalone scenario. It takes you to the mysterious city of Venice, full of masks and secrets. As revelers fill the streets, masked plotters work on their evil plans. Shadows cover the city, and a terrifying thing emerges from the lagoon. You can play it as a side - story to your ongoing Arkham Horror Card Game campaign. In this scenario, you and other investigators must quickly move through the masked crowd in Venice to solve a dreadful conspiracy. At first, the festival is full of music and fun, but it soon turns into pure horror. The sun disappears, and screams echo across the city. With everyone wearing masks, it's hard to tell villains from victims. You have to quickly identify and face the cultists before they summon a malicious being. This pack comes with all the act, agenda, location, and encounter cards for the adventure. Plus, after you finish your investigations in Venice, five player cards (one ally and four Mask assets) enhance your campaign. Note that you need a copy of the Arkham Horror Card Game Core Set to play.
To use this Carnevale of Horrors scenario pack, first, make sure you have a copy of the Arkham Horror Card Game Core Set. Shuffle all the act, agenda, location, and encounter cards that come with the pack. Then, start the game as you would with a normal Arkham Horror Card Game scenario. You and your fellow investigators will move through the masked revelers in Venice, trying to solve the conspiracy. As you play, keep an eye on the changing situation as the festival turns from fun to horror. When you finish your investigations in Venice, you can use the five player cards (one ally and four Mask assets) to enrich your campaign. Remember, since everyone in the game is wearing masks, it can be tricky to tell who the villains are. So, be careful and think fast. There's no special maintenance needed for the cards. Just keep them in a dry place and away from direct sunlight to prevent fading. Also, try to handle the cards gently to avoid bending or tearing them.
