Step into the Northern Expanse, a mysterious and perilous land where nature remains largely unexplored. When humans first arrived, they believed they'd found an untouched paradise with lush forests, fish - filled lakes, and cold mountain streams. But as settlements grew and forests thinned, nature fought back. Massive creatures called Beasts emerged, posing a huge threat to humans with their fangs, claws, and mystical powers. To safeguard the settlements, humans hired specialized hunters to track and kill these Beasts before more of their people perish. The Beast uses a deck of direction cards to move through forests, swamps, and caverns, using cunning to hide its trail from hunters. A trail appears when a hunter moves to a location the Beast has visited. The Beast's actual position is only revealed when a hunter searches a location or the Beast attacks an unsuspecting target. Each hunter can search only once per round, making it a nerve - wracking decision. Hunters often lack full information about whether the trail leads to the Beast. In this game, every action is performed by playing cards from your hand (up to two per turn). Before each round, both hunters and the Beast draft important cards, and all action cards can be used by both sides. To win, hunters must cooperate at every step, while the Beast must outmaneuver opponents. Alone, hunters are no match for the Beast. Only through communication, strategy, and combined actions can hunters defeat the Beast in time.
How to play: In this game, you'll either be a hunter or the Beast. To perform actions like moving, attacking, or searching, play cards from your hand (max two per turn). Before each round, there's a card draft for both hunters and the Beast. Hunters need to work together, communicate, and plan their moves to track and kill the Beast. The Beast should use its cards to move around and hide from the hunters. Important note: Each hunter can search only once per round, so choose your search moments carefully. Maintenance: Keep the cards in a dry place to prevent damage. If the cards get dirty, you can gently wipe them with a soft, dry cloth.
