I, Dr. Schism, with a sinister mind and a decent body, leave a bequest to my underlings - the gift of petty conflict! In Bequest, a thrilling board game, players strategically divide Dr. Schism's fortune with their villainous neighbors. Each player draws five Asset cards and splits them into two piles. The player on your right chooses one pile, leaving you the other, and you do the same with the piles from the player on your left. After everyone chooses, collect your spoils, and a new round starts in the opposite direction. There are various Asset types to collect. Keep an eye on your neighbors to figure out their needs. Match gadgets for exponentially increasing dollar values, collect Hideouts for set dollar amounts, and avoid getting Evidence (it's -$3 each when you have three or more). Global Influence earns you $10 or $20 if you have more than your neighbors, and Schemes offer unique scoring based on your collection. Keys to Dr. Schism's vault give you a spot in the drafting order for Special Asset cards, including Schemes and powerful card versions. Will you go for the smaller pile with a Key for a chance at the $5 Space Station hideout or play it safe with a Bunker and two power cores? Bequest packs a ton of strategy into seemingly simple decisions. Can you outwit others and claim the lion's share of Dr. Schism's estate to become the next great supervillain?

How to play: Start by drawing five Asset cards. Split them into two piles. Wait for the player on your right to choose one of your piles, then choose from the piles split by the player on your left. After all players have chosen, collect your cards. The next round will go in the opposite direction. Keep playing rounds until the game ends. Things to note: Pay close attention to your neighbors' moves to figure out what they're after. Try to collect matching gadgets for big payouts and Hideouts for set values. Avoid having three or more Evidence cards as they'll cost you money. Maintenance: Keep the cards in a dry place and away from direct sunlight to prevent damage. If the cards get dirty, you can gently wipe them with a soft cloth.
