Beta Colony

The Imperium took over Earth and imposed martial law, sentencing resisters to death or worse. But a group of defectors grabbed the Ridback, a Class–II jumpship, and fled with the condemned. For nearly seven years, these Earth refugees have lived on the Ridback. Now, the crew has found a promising planet. They've set up outposts, and it's your turn to grow these small 'alphas' into a full - fledged Beta Colony. Succeed, and your people can start a new life on exoplanet 14 Bos c, or 'Victus'. In Beta Colony, you play as one of five Directors aiming to create prosperous colonies. Earn the most Confidence Points (CP) to be the first leader of Victus. Players collect building materials to construct colonization pods like Defense Stations, Science and Tech Towers on Victus. Using a unique 'rolldell' mechanism (dice + rondel), this mid - weight strategic game suits players of all levels. Each round, the start player rolls four colored dice, and others duplicate the roll. Players take two actions per round, using two dice for each action. Use one die to move and one to activate the location. Die color and value affect the use of seven unique locations. Build colonization pods at colonies to gain settlers' confidence and lead them to victory!

To play Beta Colony, first choose to be one of the five Directors. Your goal is to create prosperous colonies and earn the most Confidence Points to become the leader of Victus. Each round, the starting player rolls four colored dice, and you should duplicate that roll with your own dice. You'll take two actions each round. For each action, use one die to move and one to activate the location you moved to. Pay attention to the color and value of the dice as they affect how the seven unique locations work. Collect the necessary building materials to build colonization pods such as Defense Stations and Science and Tech Towers on the different terrains of Victus. There aren't any complex maintenance steps as it's a game, but make sure to keep track of your dice rolls and actions. Have fun playing and try to lead your settlers to glory!
