Between Two Cities

It's the early 1800s, an era of massive construction and urbanization. You're a world - famous master city planner tasked with redesigning two distinct cities. Since these projects need more than one expert, you'll team up with partners for each assignment. Can your planning and teamwork skills help you create the most amazing cities in the world? Between Two Cities is a partnership - focused tile - drafting game. Each tile represents a part of a city like factories, shops, parks, and landmarks. You'll collaborate with the player on your left to build one city's core and with the player on your right for another. Every turn, pick two tiles, show them, then work with your partners to place one tile in each city before passing the remaining tiles around. At game's end, each city is scored for livability, and your final score is the lower of the two cities you designed. To win, divide your attention between the two cities. The player with the highest final score takes the victory. This game can accommodate 3 - 7 players in 20 - 25 minutes, and it also offers a 2 - player head - to - head variant and a solo option (Automa).

How to play: First, gather 3 to 7 players (or choose the 2 - player head - to - head variant or solo option). You play as a master city planner. On each turn, pick two tiles from your hand and show them. Then, work separately with your left and right partners to place one tile in each of the two cities you're designing. After that, pass the remaining tiles around the table. Keep doing this until the game ends. When the game is over, each city is scored for livability, and your final score is the lower of the two scores of the cities you helped design. The player with the highest final score wins. Note: Make sure to communicate well with your partners to build the best cities. Try to balance your attention between the two cities. Maintenance: Keep the tiles clean and dry. Store them in a cool, dry place to avoid damage. If the tiles get dirty, you can gently wipe them with a soft, dry cloth.
