Dive into the world of Australia's birdlife with this colorful card game. In Busy Beaks, players collect bird cards and form flocks to score points. The player with the most valuable flocks wins! Each bird has a unique ability. For example, the Powerful Owl allows you to search the deck for the card you need, and the mimicking Magpie lets you copy another card. You can choose different birds in each game for a fresh playing experience. This game is based on the book 'Busy Beaks' published by Affirm Press. It comes with 182 bird cards in 14 types, 1 tree board, 23 egg tokens, 14 card storage envelopes, and 1 rules of play booklet. It's suitable for 2 - 4 players, takes about 30 minutes to play, and is recommended for ages 8 and up. Designed by Phil Walker - Harding with illustrations by Meredith Walker - Harding. It has won The Dice Tower Seal of Excellence and was a finalist in the Australian Toy Association Sustainability & Environmental Award 2023.

How to play: First, distribute the cards and tokens as described in the rulebook. Each player takes turns collecting bird cards and forming flocks. Try to use the special abilities of each bird to your advantage. For example, when you get the Powerful Owl, take the chance to search for the card you really need. When you have the Magpie, copy a useful card. The game ends when the conditions in the rulebook are met, and the player with the most valuable flocks wins. Note: Keep the cards and tokens away from water and sharp objects to prevent damage. When not in use, store the cards in the provided envelopes and keep all the components in a dry place. If the cards get dirty, you can gently wipe them with a soft, dry cloth.
