Castles by the Sea

Castles by the Sea is an exciting sandcastle - building puzzle game suitable for 1 to 4 players. As 'shorelings', you aim to construct and populate a seaside kingdom. Each turn, place blocks and meeples on the map to score victory points. Similar to abstract strategy games like Santorini, players need to optimize 3D placement on a shared grid. Hazards are the only random element, yet they depend on player choices. Carefully choose your placement each turn to maximize your score and disrupt opponents' plans. After a set number of turns, the game ends. Most castles will fall after a final wave of hazards, and the kingdom with the most sand dollars wins.
