Linx is an exciting game that ingeniously combines the classic mechanics of tic - tac - toe and rock - paper - scissors! It offers 2 distinct victory paths. Players take turns clockwise. On a turn, you can either place a face - up tile or a face - down tile. If unable to do either, show your tiles, pass, and draw 2 tiles. Each face - up tile must be placed adjacent to an existing tile within a 4x4 or 5x5 grid. Placing a new front tile lets you draw 2 tiles, which can be covered by back tiles. A back tile must 'beat' a face - up tile according to the rock - paper - scissors rule. You don't draw when placing a back tile, and these tiles are 'blocked'. You can win by aligning 3 front tiles or 3 back tiles of your color. Suitable for 2 - 4 players, takes about 15 minutes, and is for ages 8 and up.

How to play Linx: First, gather 2 to 4 players who are 8 years old or above. The game will take around 15 minutes. Players take turns in a clockwise direction. On your turn, you have two choices.
