ECO: Coral Reef - Deluxe Edition comes with an improved rulebook. All game components are upgraded in shape and material. The main differences from the first edition include a deluxe tin box, a playmat map, silicone turtles, UREA tiles similar to dominoes, and 2 extra game variants. In this game, each player takes on the role of a marine biologist, hired to plan an ecological coral reef for marine life conservation. Players collect and place pictures of marine life to create an ecological mosaic. By matching species and finishing missions, players move their sea turtles towards the water line to win. Suitable for 2 - 4 players, playing time is 30 - 60 minutes, and players should be 14 or older.
To play ECO: Coral Reef - Deluxe Edition, first gather 2 to 4 players aged 14 or above. Open the deluxe tin box and take out all the components, including the playmat map, silicone turtles, and UREA tiles. Read through the improved rulebook to understand the rules. Each player becomes a marine biologist. Start collecting and placing pictures of marine life on the playmat to form an ecological mosaic. Try to match species and complete missions to move your sea turtle towards the water line. The first one to reach the water line wins. When not in use, keep the game in the tin box to protect the components. Avoid getting the silicone turtles and playmat wet, and don't bend the UREA tiles too hard to prevent damage.
