In the ancient Thornmar Abbey, a sacred order of holy knights guards a sealed portal to the underworld. They're tasked with protecting the wise elders who maintain the seal. After decades of peace, the seal weakens, and demons surge from the rift. These demons aim to fight past the brave knights and slay enough elders to shatter the seal before dawn. Empowered by the gods, only these heroic knights can defend the elders and halt the monster invasion. Knight Fall is an exciting asymmetrical team game for 1 - 6 players. One team takes charge of the knights, defending the elders and holding off the demons until daybreak. The other team controls the demons, trying to break the underworld seal before morning. During the game, you can pick a distinct knight or demon, each boasting special powers. For example, the Flame Knight can surround enemies with fire, and the Bone Crusher can summon skeletal minions. The cards in your hand can be used in various ways, and unique location tiles let you design a different monastery layout every game. Knight Fall also offers a campaign mode for 1 - 2 players. In this mode, you'll read engaging stories while exploring a haunted valley map, charting your course as you go. Traverse crumbling churches, a spooky forest, and a dark mountain to stop the demons before the final showdown at Thornmar Abbey. Keep your knights alive at all costs, as each knight's death means one less hero in the final battle against the demons!

How to play Knight Fall: - For the asymmetrical team game (1 - 6 players): Decide which team will play as the knights and which as the demons. Knights focus on protecting the elders and surviving until dawn, while demons aim to break the seal before morning. Choose your unique knight or demon character with special powers. Use the cards in your hand to perform actions in different ways. Arrange the location tiles to create a new monastery layout for each game. - For the campaign mode (1 - 2 players): Start by reading the stories and exploring the haunted valley map. Draw your path as you move through different locations like churches, forests, and mountains. Keep your knights alive to have more heroes in the final battle at Thornmar Abbey. Things to note: - In both modes, pay attention to the time limit. The demons need to break the seal before morning in the team game, and you have to stop the demons before the final battle in the campaign mode. - Each knight's death is a loss, so plan your moves carefully to protect them. Maintenance advice: - Keep the cards and tiles in a dry place to prevent damage. You can use card sleeves to protect the cards.
