Last Friday Revised Edition is an exciting hidden movement, hunting, and deduction board game inspired by the 'slasher' horror movie genre. This updated version has subtle yet significant rule changes that improve game balance, giving the Maniac more chances to spread fear at Camp Apache. It also features new cover art. This game is for 2 to 6 players and is divided into four horror - filled chapters: 'Arrival at the Camp', 'The Chase', 'The Massacre', and 'The Final Chapter'. Each chapter takes 30 to 45 minutes to play, and you can play them individually or all together for a long night of terror. In 1980 summer, five players act as young campers trying to survive a terrifying weekend in a forest camp, while one player becomes the undying psychopath hiding in the forest shadows. The game's goal changes with each chapter, creating highly engaging gameplay. Sometimes the maniac hunts the campers, and other times, the campers hunt the maniac. If a player dies in one chapter, they return in the next as a different character, adding replayability. The game includes 1 Rulebook, 1 Game Board, 1 Foldable Maniac Tracking Screen, 15 Camper Cards, 7 Wooden Pawns, 65 Cardboard Tiles and Tokens, 30 Yellow Transparent Plastic Tokens. It's suitable for ages 13 and up with a 45 - minute playtime.
How to use: First, gather 2 to 6 players. One player takes on the role of the maniac, and the rest are campers. Open the box and set up the game board. Use the rulebook to understand the rules of each of the four chapters. Place the wooden pawns, camper cards, cardboard tiles, and tokens as directed. The yellow transparent plastic tokens are used according to the rules. Start playing chapter by chapter, adjusting the goal of the game based on the chapter. Remember, if you die in a chapter, you'll come back as a different character in the next one. Note: This game is for ages 13 and up, so make sure all players meet this requirement. Keep the small tokens away from younger children to avoid choking hazards. Maintenance: After each game, put all the components back in the box neatly. Try to keep the cards and tiles flat to prevent damage. Store the game in a dry place to avoid warping of the board or other components.
