Description

It's a lovely day at the beach, and surfers are out looking for new boards. Build the coolest and largest longboards to make your surfboard - shaping shop the top in town. Let the surf adventure begin! In the Longboard game, players select and trade surfboard pieces to construct the tallest and most surfboards. On each turn, you get to take two actions from three possible types. First, you can add a card from the deck to your personal supply (cards face - up in front of you). Second, pick a card from your supply to start or extend a board. All cards in a board must be the same color (or wild), and each new card on the board should be of equal or greater value than the one below. Third, place one or more cards from your supply into an opponent's supply, then take a single card of lower value than what you gave them and use it to start or build a board. Each board card has 1 - 3 stickers, which count as points when the surfboard is complete (has at least four cards). A player can end the game when they have 3 - 4 complete boards, with at least one having 7+ cards. If the deck runs out first, the game ends. Players score sticker points on completed boards, lose points for incomplete ones, and can get bonus points for having the longest completed board, the most completed boards, or for fulfilling any of the four random objective cards set at the start of the game.

How to play: On your turn, you have two actions. You can add a card from the deck to your personal supply. This gives you more options later. Or take a card from your supply to start or grow a board, just remember the color and value rules. You can also share cards with an opponent and take one from them. The goal is to complete surfboards with at least four cards. When you have 3 - 4 complete boards and at least one with 7+ cards, you can end the game. If the deck runs out, the game ends too. Scoring: You get points from stickers on completed boards. Incomplete boards cost you points. And you can earn bonus points for certain achievements. Note: Keep track of the card values and colors carefully. Make sure you understand the objective cards at the start. Maintenance: Since it's a card game, keep the cards in a dry place to avoid damage. You can use a card sleeve if you want to protect them better.
