An Italian masterpiece game, the 2nd edition offers a complete new experience loved by gamers globally. In Lorenzo The Magnificent, you step into the shoes of a noble family head in an Italian Renaissance city. Your goal? To outshine others by earning more prestige and fame, or victory points (VP). Send your family members to different parts of town. They can acquire useful resources in one area, development cards representing conquered territories, sponsored buildings, influenced characters, or encouraged ventures in another, and activate card effects elsewhere. Family members vary in value, determined by rolling three dice at the start of each round. Choose wisely where to deploy your most valuable ones. There are multiple ways to gain VP, and don't overlook your relations with the Church. The game is divided into three periods, each with two rounds. At the end of each period, show your faith; insufficient prayer leads to harsh penalties. After six rounds, calculate your final score, and the most VP wins.
How to play: First, each player takes on the role of a noble family head. At the start of each round, roll three dice to set the value of your family members. Then, decide where to send them in the town areas to get resources, development cards, or activate card effects. Try different strategies to gain as many victory points (VP) as possible. Remember, you need to balance VP - earning with maintaining a good relationship with the Church. Pay attention to the three - period structure, with each period having two rounds. At the end of each period, make sure you've prayed enough to avoid penalties. After six rounds, calculate your score. If you want to keep your game in good condition, store it in a dry and cool place. Avoid bending the cards or getting the dice dirty. When you're done playing, neatly put all the game components back in the box.
