This 1 - 4 player cooperative arena combat board game is set in an open world filled with colossal monsters. Every battle here is like a boss fight! Unlike regular games, the monster you're hunting dictates the battle's flow, and each one is incredibly unique. Your mission? Protect the Astera basecamp. Track down and slay those terrifying creatures roaming the New World. Use the loot from your defeated foes to craft powerful new equipment and take on even bigger and scarier beasts. The more monsters you slay, the better weapons you can make, and the larger the monsters you can hunt. This game includes 8 unique miniatures, 632 cards, 124 tokens, 4 stamina boards, 3 dice, 1 quest book, 1 rule book, 1 gameboard, and 1 campaign note - sheet pad.
To start playing, first read through the rule book to understand the basic rules. Then, set up the gameboard and distribute the miniatures, cards, tokens, stamina boards, dice, quest book, and campaign note - sheet pad according to the number of players. Each player chooses a character and starts the adventure. When hunting monsters, remember that the monster decides how the battle goes, so be flexible. After defeating a monster, collect the loot and use it to craft new equipment from the available recipes in the quest book. As you play, keep track of your progress on the campaign note - sheet pad. When it comes to maintenance, keep the cards and miniatures in a dry place to prevent damage. Don't bend the cards or expose the miniatures to sharp objects. If the dice get dirty, you can gently clean them with a damp cloth. Have fun hunting those monsters!
