Alien Frontiers: Factions

Alien Frontiers: Factions is an exciting expansion for the Alien Frontiers base game. It brings a bunch of new elements. There are ship and colony tokens for a fifth player, allowing more friends to join the adventure. The game features factions, each giving its owner a special ability and new orbital facilities under their control. There are also agendas, hidden objectives that let players earn bonus points either at the end of the game or when the agenda is revealed during the play. Moreover, there are new Alien Tech cards, like the Lunar Tunneler. With this card, its owner can pay one fuel to get an extra ore when using the Lunar Mine. And when discarded, it sends all ships docked at the Lunar Mine to the Maintenance Bay, which is super useful when the mine is crowded with high - value ships.

To use Alien Frontiers: Factions, first, make sure you have the base Alien Frontiers game. Add the new ship and colony tokens if you have a fifth player. Shuffle the new faction cards and let each player choose one. When starting the game, draw agenda cards and keep them hidden. Throughout the game, try to complete your agenda to earn bonus points. For the Alien Tech cards, like the Lunar Tunneler, use its special ability when appropriate. When using the Lunar Mine, you can pay one fuel to get an extra ore. Remember to discard the card when you want to send ships to the Maintenance Bay. As for maintenance, keep the cards in a card protector to prevent wear and tear.
