Description
Get ready for an exciting deception party game from the makers of Fluxx! In your quest to destroy the Evil magic Key, your adventurer group faces two wizards - an Evil Wizard aiming to unlock evil powers and a Good Wizard capable of destroying the key. The catch? The Evil Wizard has disguised as the Good Wizard. You must quickly decide who to give the Key to. And beware, one of your trusted Guards is secretly a Traitor, and you could be the Traitor in the next round! This game is for 4 - 10 players, with a playtime of 10 - 30 minutes, and suitable for ages 13 and above. Everyone gets a card assigning a role like the Good Wizard, Evil Wizard, Traitor, Key - Holder, or Guard. The Traitor and Guards know the Key Holder, but only the Wizards know their identities. The game involves open discussions about the Traitor and the Evil Wizard until a move ends the round. Good players win if something good happens, while the Evil Wizard and Traitor win if the Evil Wizard gets the Key. After each round, winning team members get Treasure cards worth 0 - 5 points. The first to reach 10 points wins!
How to play: First, deal each player a card to assign a role. You might be the Good Wizard, Evil Wizard, Traitor, Key - Holder, or Guard. The Traitor and Guards should keep an eye on the Key Holder, and the Wizards should protect their own side's interests. During the game, have open discussions with other players to figure out who is who. Once someone makes a move that ends the round, check if the good or bad side has won. If the Good players win, they get a great feeling of victory; if the Evil Wizard and Traitor win, they've outsmarted the others. After each round, collect your Treasure cards. Keep track of your points, and when you reach 10 points, you're the winner! Note: Make sure everyone understands their roles at the start. Don't reveal your identity too easily during the game. And have fun, as this is all about enjoying the mystery and deception. There's no special maintenance needed for this game, just keep the cards in a safe place so you can play again and again.
