The 3rd Printing of Liberty or Death: The American Insurrection is the same as the 2nd, but with known errors fixed. It comes with a 22” x 34” mounted game board, a deck of 110 playing cards, over 150 red, green, tan, blue, and white wooden playing pieces (some embossed), 6 black and 6 white wooden pawns, 4 foldout Faction player aid sheets, 2 foldout Non - player Faction aid sheets, 2 Sequence sheets, a Random Spaces sheet, a sheet of markers, a rulebook, a playbook, and 4 6 - sided dice. This game has a one - year time scale per campaign between winter quarters and uses area movement for the map scale. It can be played by 1 to 4 players. Just like earlier COIN Series games, each card presents tough strategic choices. The game system smartly combines political, cultural, and economic aspects with military and other commands. You can choose from options like rabble - rousing, Indian raids, persuasion, and more. Flow charts are provided for all player counts, making solitaire, 2 - player, 3 - player, or 4 - player games equally enjoyable.
How to use: First, set up the 22” x 34” game board. Shuffle the 110 - card deck and distribute the wooden pieces, pawns, and markers as described in the rulebook. Refer to the player aid sheets and sequence sheets during the game. Each turn, pick a card and make strategic decisions from the available options. One campaign represents one year between winter quarters. Remember, the map uses area movement. Attention: Keep the small wooden pieces away from small children to avoid choking hazards. Don't bend or damage the foldout sheets. Maintenance: Store the game in a dry place. Wipe the wooden pieces with a dry cloth if they get dirty. Keep the cards in a card protector to prevent wear and tear.
