Elder Sign Grave Consequences

Designed by Richard Launius, the mind behind Arkham Horror, the Grave Consequences expansion for Elder Sign brings fifty new cards in three modular decks - Phobia, Epic Battle, and Epitaph. Phobia cards impose lasting negative effects on investigators. Epitaph cards create a small graveyard for the fallen. Epic Battle cards crank up the difficulty and danger when fighting the Ancient One. These decks and their cards can be used together or separately and are fully compatible with the core game and all its expansions. Using one or all of the decks will boost the challenge and drama of your Elder Sign adventure, immersing you deeper in its world and helping you bond more with your investigator.

To use the Grave Consequences expansion, simply add the cards from the Phobia, Epic Battle, and Epitaph decks to your Elder Sign game. You can use all the decks together for a more intense experience or pick just one or two to change up the challenge. When using Phobia cards, remember they'll give your investigators long - term negative effects. Epitaph cards help you build a graveyard for fallen characters. Epic Battle cards are for when you face the Ancient One to make the fight tougher. There aren't any strict rules about which order to use the decks in. Just shuffle them well before starting the game. As for maintenance, keep the cards in a card protector to prevent wear and tear. Avoid bending or folding the cards, and store them in a cool, dry place to maintain their quality.
