Family Business Card Game takes mob warfare to an exciting new level filled with backstabbing, revenge, and bloodthirstiness, making it an absolute blast to play. Each player controls a 'family' and uses various cards to eliminate other players' family members. With a loose - structured game, it's possible for everyone to target one unlucky player or for the damage to be evenly spread. The last family standing wins. Each player starts with a gang of nine characters. To eliminate other gangsters, play contracts on them. If not blocked, the targeted gangster goes on the hitlist. Once six gangsters are on the list, a mobwar starts. At the beginning of each turn, the first character on the list is removed until it's empty. Mobwars can also be triggered by card plays. When there are six or fewer characters left, a continuous mobwar occurs until only one player has characters remaining. Players generally take turns clockwise, but the turn goes to the player who plays a response card, then resumes clockwise. There's plenty of interaction as players use cards to add gangsters to the list, save them, replace them, start or stop a Mob War. This game is for 2 - 6 players, takes about 30 minutes, and is suitable for ages 8 and up. Features include Mafia, Family, Hand Management, and Take That gameplay.
