The Murano Complete Edition is an engaging board game set on Murano, a cluster of seven small islands near Venice famous for glassmaking. Just like in Venice, canals separate the islands of Murano, making gondolas and transportation key elements of the game. The game board shows the islands of Murano divided into building sites and walkways. Around the islands are action spaces, with some gondolas placed at the start. On your turn, move a gondola to an empty space. You can't pass other gondolas or land on an occupied space, but for a coin, you can move blocking gondolas, even multiple ones if necessary. Some actions let you place different types of shops on the islands. Mark a shop to claim ownership, and when tourists arrive, they'll shop based on proximity and goods. You also need to move your personal gondolas to islands to take actions. The goal? Score victory point cards. Board actions can get you more VP cards to guide your moves and help you profit. You can use buildings to create glassworks, which are useful for VP cards, tourist sales, and selling glass for money through an action space at the bottom of the game board.
How to play: First, set up the game board with the islands of Murano, building sites, walkways, and action spaces. Place the gondolas as shown at the start. On your turn, pick a gondola and move it to an empty space in the direction of play. Remember, you can't pass other gondolas or land on an occupied space. If a gondola is blocking your way, you can pay a coin to move it. Some actions let you place shops on the islands. Mark the shops you own. When tourists come, they'll visit the shops based on how close they are and what they sell. Also, move your personal gondolas to islands to take actions there. Your aim is to score victory point cards. Board actions can give you more VP cards. You can use buildings to make glassworks, which are useful for getting points and making money. Note: When moving gondolas, always follow the rules about passing and landing on spaces. Make sure to pay the coin when moving blocking gondolas. Maintenance: Keep the game board and pieces clean and dry. Store them in a box or container to prevent damage and loss.
