Full Throttle

Full Throttle is an exciting new board game by Friedemann Friese, the award - winning creator of Power Grid and Friday. In this game, instead of controlling the mopeds, players secretly bet on which mopeds will win. The rules are straightforward. Each round, cards are shown to move the mopeds around the track. Then players secretly pick from these cards, and some cards go back to the draw pile. If the mopeds corresponding to the cards a player keeps are among the top finishers, they'll get points. But watch out! The removed cards will slow down the mopeds. After 3 laps, points are given to the first 3 mopeds crossing the finish line. Each matching card a player holds multiplies the points, and the best bettor takes the win!

To play Full Throttle, start each round by revealing cards that move the mopeds around the track. Then, secretly choose cards from the revealed ones. Remember, some cards will go back to the draw pile. Try to bet on the mopeds you think will be in the top 3 finishers after 3 laps. If your chosen moped does well, the cards you've kept will multiply your points. Be careful when choosing cards because the ones removed will slow down the corresponding mopeds. There aren't any special maintenance requirements for this game, just keep the cards in a dry place to prevent damage. Have fun playing and see if you can be the best bettor!
