Harvest the finest grapes for wineries and inherit a vineyard! Grape pickers compete to inherit a magnificent yet nearly abandoned vineyard. The one who harvests the best grape yield becomes the owner of this precious land. In La Viña, players move along the board, collecting cards of the most interesting grape varieties. To collect cards, you move along a track representing vineyard rows. Each track has various grape cards on both sides, and you can choose cards next to your current or next space. Each turn, you can either pick a card and move or move and then pick a card. At the track's end, there are different wineries, each preferring a different grape variety. Match your hand of grapes with the wineries' needs to get the best reward for your harvest. If you move fast, you might get the best cards but risk not having enough grapes. Move too slow, and the competition may grab the best vines! Selling grapes to wineries earns players prestige points, and each player has a limited number of deliveries. The game ends when a player makes their last grape delivery. Other players can finish moving through their track. Then, everyone counts their prestige points from previous deliveries, and the player with the most points wins! This game is for 2 - 5 players, takes 30 - 45 minutes, and is suitable for ages 8 and up. Features include contracts, hand management, and turn order time - track. Themes are card game and farming. It was a 2019 5 Seasons Best Portuguese Family Game Nominee.

How to play La Viña: First, set up the game board with the track representing the vineyard rows and place the grape cards along the sides. Each player starts at the beginning of the track. On your turn, you have two options: you can either pick a grape card from next to your current space and then move, or move first and then pick a card from next to your new space. As you move along the track, try to collect the grape cards that match the preferences of the wineries at the end of the track. When you reach a winery, check if your hand of grape cards meets their requirements. If so, sell your grapes to get prestige points. Remember, each player has a limited number of deliveries. The game ends when a player makes their last delivery. The other players can then finish their moves on the track. After that, count up all your prestige points from your deliveries. The player with the most points wins! Note: Be strategic about your speed. Moving too fast might get you the best cards but leave you short on grapes. Moving too slow could let the other players get to the best vines first. To maintain the game, keep the cards in a dry and clean place. Avoid bending or folding the cards to ensure they last a long time.
