5 Wards

Bribe, brawl, and blast your way to the top of an illicit Victorian empire! In this 2 - 4 player competition, assemble your gang and enter the bustling Victorian city streets to control the 5 Wards. Recruit and deploy thugs, fight rivals, execute devious schemes, and make your colorful crew the most notorious and powerful hooligans. It's a lightweight mix of area control, worker placement, dice selection, and card play. Played over several rounds, your goal is to deploy thugs on the map to control the city. Each of the 5 Wards has a randomly - drawn Victory Point (VP) scoring condition at setup. Wards score only once at the end of the game, so every point matters! The final round starts when the Landmark deck runs out, and the gang with the most VPs wins. Suitable for 2 - 5 players, 45 - 60 minutes, and ages 10+.

To play 5 Wards, first assemble your gang. You'll then take turns recruiting and deploying thugs on the map of the Victorian city to gain control of the 5 Wards. Remember, each ward has a different Victory Point scoring condition drawn randomly at the start of the game. During the game, you can fight with rival gangs and execute devious schemes. Keep an eye on the Landmark deck because when it runs out, the final round begins. At the end of the game, the gang with the most Victory Points wins. As for maintenance, keep the cards and dice in a dry place to prevent damage. Also, handle the game components gently to make them last longer. Make sure all players understand the rules before starting to ensure a smooth and fun game.
