To use this expansion, simply add the new components to your base game of Among the Stars. You can use it with or without the Ambassadors expansion. First, shuffle the new location cards and place them on the board. For the conflict sets, follow the rules in the main game to resolve conflicts. The objectives give you new goals to aim for. When you introduce the new alien races and ambassadors, make sure everyone understands their special abilities. As for the Alliance Inspection mini - expansion, read the instructions carefully to play it right. Keep the cards in a cool, dry place to prevent damage. And when you're done playing, put all the components back in the box neatly so you can easily find them next time.
